A perfect example of the Kiln Fairies playing tricks! What began as an attempt to create a simple metallic leaf inclusion emerged from the kiln looking unmistakably like the map of Australia — full of character and delightful bubbles.
Despite (or perhaps because of) its unplanned transformation, this piece turned out to be an absolute stunner. Crafted from unusual purple glass with flashes of highlighter green and accents of rose gold, it’s a truly unique artwork with its own story to tell.
