The name - Polka Dot Cow weaves together my Polish roots and the playful memories that still spark my creativity.
Polka translates to “Polish woman,” a nod to my roots in Poland, while Dot Cow comes from one of my favourite childhood tongue twisters by Jan Brzechwa, “Czarna krowa w kropki bordo.”
The name captures both heritage and humour — a mix of identity, nostalgia, joy, and creative whimsy.
And of course, dotcow.co.uk was simply too brilliant a web address to resist.
